Grace Period Registration and Early Voting

as everyone here probably knows, this year's primaries are on february 5.  which makes early voting and grace period voter registration earlier, as well.

EARLY VOTING and GRACE PERIOD VOTER REGISTRATION began january 9th.

early voting takes place at every ward in the city of chicago and most townships in cook county.  other counties participate in early voting, as well.  check your local elections board for locations.

the city of chicago says:

Chicago voters who use the "grace period" must come to 69 W. Washington St., Suite 600. The "grace period" closes on Tues., Jan. 22, 2008. Hours for "grace period" registration and voting are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Sundays.

Unlike voters who registered by the January 8 deadline, voters who update records or register during the "grace period" cannot vote at their polling places on Election Day or in the Early Voting program.

To register to vote, persons must be citizens of the United States and 18 years of age or older by February 5. When registering during the "grace period," a person needs to show two (2) valid pieces of identification, one showing the current residence address.

Remember:
1) Bring a government photo ID.
2) You don't need an excuse or reason to vote early.
3) Use any Early Voting site, no matter where you live.
4) All sites open Mon.-Sat. 9 to 5, including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
5) All Early Voting sites in Chicago are fully accessible.

I was actually going to try to vote this afternoon at City Hall but I couldn't find a list of jugdge recommendations available yet.  You seem like the guy that knows this stuff...where is a good place to get judge recommendations?  I can't remember the site I went too but they said that they would have a list available soon.

I know that the 49th ward dems are having a meet and greet that might include some judge candidates very soon but they don't direct you to a listing.
